Sally Kohn: I would love to have you sort of paint a picture for our listeners about these intersection points of design and policing. One of the first stories i wanted to bring in was from actually an old friend, david lamb, whom i've known since we were in college. He talked about realizing that the work he was doing was funding youth prisons in the midwest. And so one of the threads of this narrative that we're building is, what are how complex systems can make invisible these actions that actually do harm, right?
