Is the SMP 500 a Mistake?

There's things that should have gone up last year, did not, and now they go up this year. And i don't know why, except that it has to do with certain characteristics of investors preferring certain kinds of things. The smp 500 is a little misleading compared to sort of the mediun stock, right? So actually the increase in stock prices this year, um, although don't know that a lot are down, lots o levels that we would care about because, a, that's ha thing.
