The Existential Risks of Artificial Intelligence
If you define the human as an organism like our organism that's raised by other humans then it means this thing wouldn't be human. This is a speciation event similar to something that could happen with radical genetic engineering. So all of a sudden there are beings who come after us who are like us but who are not us. And so technically this is existential risk because it's the death of our humanity. But we would have just changed into a new species by virtue of making our predominant modality of socialization be human machine as opposed to human human.
