How Can We Really Independently Make Choices When There Are Expectations to Do Otherwise?
Tiffany, how can we truly independently make choices when there are expectations to do otherwise? I'm not talking about those innate things but even little smaller things like cleaning the church or showing up at a service project or attending tithing settlement. What it comes down to is having a firm sense of our own integrity and standing your ground on something that's deeply important to us. We only owe that integrity and that allegiance to one thing if the institution and as the institution is the conduit through which I get closer to God then I support those things with my whole heart.
