How to Choose the Right License for Your Product

I would just not get distracted by that choice early on in a project. I think it depends on what you're building at all, honestly. If you make your license restrictive, you will get less adoption. Unless your open source project is only going to be used by 100 companies in the world, having a restrictive license is onlygoing to harm you. It's almost like you want to put your politics on another company and force them to contribute back. Who cares? They're either going to contribute back or not. Don't like restrict people's usage if you're just building something on the side.
