Is There a Recession?
The lower quintile of earners were way worse off after the financial crisis, and they didn't rait. This time, they ended up better off, percentage wise, than the top did. The best periods for growth of income at the bottom also tend to be the best periods for people at the top. Inequality tends to grow. But if you want to reduce inequality, the best way to do it is to start a recession. Recessions are not good for anybody.
