What Is Re Mastering?

Re mastered is not the same as re mixed or re engineered. It's a different discipline, and it requires a different set of ears. A mastering engineer will take the stereo mixing, no, they can't do any mixing. They don't have access to the individual tracks. And then you send it away to be master to bringin a mastering engineer to master it. This is a whole separate process. It's kind of like alchemy, a mastering as.
