The Importance of Having a Clear Business Plan

I love the idea that it was a lot of trial and error. You know, you tried stuff out. You clearly put in the work. When you think about having a clear sort of business plan, was that important to you in the beginning? Would you say that should be important to anybody starting out now? I think it should when you have a schedule. Mine was fueled by me getting in trouble.
