In the introduction to your book, you have a few vocabulary words that help kind of frame what's going on in the book. It may be helpful if you could talk us through some of those. By public memory, we mean the ways that memory is shared collectively, but then also contested in public. Christmas has this really interesting betwixt in between character to it in that it is a Christian holiday.
