How to Mentor a Comic

I wasn't doing stand-up really. I was semi-identified for a couple of years a little bit and then I retired. If I see a comic that I like in the club, I'll just say it low. It's not like I replied back, Neil Brennan saved me. Or any of you said, when are you going to start mentoring me? No, I never. You know, it was fucked up,. I'll help other comics, but then if they make like a former request like that, it makes me nervous because somehow I'm responsible.
