The skill set that you need for the new way of doing things is very, very different than the one that people developed in the physical world. We have to remain radically open minded about what's going on and how we can help those who are uncomfortable with nonlinear thought. For example, i change my mind on universal basic income as a quant who knows all the empirical arguments that say it doesn't work. And so there has to be a period where someone like me says 'i'm just wherit this future' But then he kind of gets over the hump because numbers and reality do catch up - but I think i co-letting him get over the hump too.
