How to Get Your 16 Year Old to Read Alouds
A 16 year old who's listening to family read alouds is getting a lot more reading done than most teens are. You could do it earlier in the day as well. I like to have a what we call a quiet reading time. For my younger kids, it's just 30 minutes a day where they know that reading is the only thing they can do.
