Jackie Wilson's St. Teresa of the Roses
Jackie Wilson was a member of Ward's dominoes. He chafed at the discipline and staying in one place all the time. St. Teresa of the Roses made number 13 on the pop charts, and number 27 on the Hot 100. Incidentally, over in the UK, where American chart records were often covered for the domestic market by British acts, that was recorded by Malcolm Vaughan.
