How to Have a Healthy Argumentative Relationship
My parents never fought. A good 45 plus years of marriage, but never fought. And I am not exactly a fighter either. So that one kind of goes back to what I was saying about conflict avoidance. The way conflict was resolved in my wife's family was like World War I. Last man standing wins. Whoever outlasts everyone else in the argument wins. Facts, logic, common sense have nothing to do with it. Unless something is really, really, really important, I've learned to just let it go. Third one.
