Recently, I had a conversation with a friend who shared that although we're only a few weeks into 2024, he was having difficulty tapping into his goals. It dawned on me that when we start setting new goals without renewing our identity - we can find ourselves slipping back into old habits. Until we hone in on the type of person we need to become to reach new heights, we'll continually find ourselves sabotaging the dreams of our future selves. Every morning, I have disciplined myself to recite a 12-point identity statement that reminds me of who I am and the vision of my life.
