The Sign of a Shadow
Hezekiah challenged what the prophet said, God gave him the sign of a shadow. In this day they didn't have fit bits and Rolexes. So in order to tell what time it was, they had kind of a sundial system. The longer the shadow goes down the steps, the later it is. It signifies that the day is drawing to a close.
