Is the Fed Pausing?
The case for zero is do no harm. We know that the banking system's under stress. The case for 25 basis points is to say, we still have an inflation problem. If I was sitting there, I guess I would probably recommend just taking a pause. But you have to do it in a way that doesn't alarm people.
