Deference Politics
In deference politics, you think about the fact that it matters what people's identities are and how they're situated in terms of what we should do politically. What I should do is broadly be deferential with respect to the people that I interact with from a marginalized group when we're talking about issues that have to do with them. And I should agree with the things that they say. The causes that they tell me to support.
