The Pentagon's Report on Offshore Wind Farms
Pentagon says areas off the coast of North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland and Delaware are problematic for using wind farms. The Pentagon is raising these concerns because the interior department has earmarked those exact same areas for wind farm leases. In fact, four of the six zones identified by the White House as good for wind farms have been identified as bad for the US military.
