Is There a Linear Perception of Time in Western Culture?

In western culture, you can trace it back to the abra abrahamic religions. The belief that time started is continually moving and it will one day end. Western estological culture does have a non linear time, but it tends to occur in heaven and hell. There's indigenous australian cultures that have an idea of dream time which appears to be past, present and future.
