The Threats to the Future of CBDCs

There would be a there would be a haircut in the conversion. It's not clear to me that they necessarily would do a forced conversion on one day and make you turn in your cash for their different ways. A lot of people are talking about a parallel system where there's cash accepted and regular bank accounts, but also CBDCs. And so you're living hand to mouth totally dependent on the government.
