This new cycle of karma and mean reversion has been a reminder for me to shore up financial weaknesses. For some, this might simply mean making sure that your insurance across the board is up to date. Another soft spot in our financial picture is that we are in nearly 100% stocks. We own no real estate. And while that's not necessarily a bad thing, I think I would feel better if we had some skin in the real estate game if the price were right.
