"I wanted to really like you know really figure it out you know and see like test myself," he says. "It led me to some some places that I didn't really plan on going but you know we I got there and I got out of there too" He went to prison a couple of times for armed robbery the first one, then robbed a liquor store. The writer's father was an artist so growing up his dad would be locked away in the back room doing oil painting or watercolors.
