The Week in Art

CHAPTER

Untitled: A Conversation With Carmen

Carmen's untitled work is about saying to the audience please make meaning. Recently I've been making a lot of work which has concrete meanings you know or multiple meanings we've been working on story ballets. These are very clear kind of like narrative anchors and I wanted just to offer the audience an opportunity to go let's not tell you anything about this work at all apart from the artists that are working on it. It means there's no meaning there it means it's there to be revealed when you're in an open enough state to be able to process that.
