What Happens When Two Photons Get Near Each Other?

Two photons don't interact with each other the way they would interact with, for example, a boundary or a wall. The microscopic view of bumping into things on the dance floor and sitting in your chair is not sot of the conceptual view that you might have. So this microscopic viewof the world from a physics point of view, there's no actual contact between these particles. It all happens via the fields between them, or equivalently, the particles that there passing between each other.
