Code Is a Career That Is Hard to Have Without Intrinsic Motivation

I don't think coding is this natural ability, but you need intrinsic motivation. I think that wanting to get into tech for the pay is a very legitimate reason. But if you're doing it exclusively for those reasons and you don't also like to code, it's just going to be really, really hard. At least half the time you have to like it. Otherwise, it's too easy to quit. It takes too long. It's too painful. And I think that it's really hard to do with only extrinsic motivation.
