The Importance of Mission in the Church
I think what we need is an understanding of Jesus as Messiah and Rabbi, the one who makes this new life in God's kingdom possible. And then once to be our teacher for how to live in this new reality. We will learn the validity of the way of Jesus, not just through intellectual inquiry, but experientially. Anyone can try on any of his teachings and see if they work in real life.
