The Kurdish Issue in the Election

The Kurdish HDP party was not formally a part of the opposition but threw their weight behind the presidential candidate. Some people think that was unwise for the opposition to even allow for that because it basically says that many Turks, especially in Erdogan's space and in the nationalist camp view them as terrorists. So what do you think about? Should the opposition to play that differently? Did they make the right choice? What were the other choices?
