The school system and the way parents self-righteously command their children teaches children infallibleism as a way of approaching the world. The danger here is that they might be wrong about what is good for the kid and the kid might be right. So maybe we might want to think about that. And in fact, if you look at the way many parents and teachers talk to children, there is a definite self-righteousness that they feel that they can't be mistaken about the stuff that they're trying to pour in.
