The Maximum Mass Allowable for Black Hole Formation
There is no limit to how massive a black hole can be. You could feed all of the mass and energy in the entire observable universe into a black hole and it would be fine. An interesting coincidence, a black hole with the mass of the observable universe is has an event horizon the size of the observable universe - probably just a coincidence.
