Think tank claims younger workers would have to pay an extra 20 thousand pounds by the time they retire, on average. Experts tell me this doesn't seem too unreasonable a figure, although it's very difficult to predict how your money might grow. Most people live at least 20 years after they've retired. And 20 thousand pounds over 20 years is just over 80 quid amonth yes, o, 20 thousand pounds extra from starting earlier.
