The Effects of Honey on the Immune System

Honey has been used for thousands of years to treat wounds, and indeed it's still used in our hospitals today. Welsh researchers think anything Kiwi bees can do, Welsh bees can do too. A team from Cardiff University have found a way of using Welsh bees to find new sources of antimicrobial plant compounds. They've been analysing the Welsh nectar they collect.
