The Challenges of Translating Christie's Books Into Icelandic

Award winning crime writer Ragnar Jornison translated 14 books of Agatha Christie into Icelandic. Took 10 years to work out how to translate a clue in one book that had never been published before in Iceland. Most memorable challenge was finding the perfect structure for a mystery novel. The only thing he could go by as reference when writing his own novels was the length of thebooks he'd translated.
