The Song of Ice and Fire

The Song of Ice and Fire in general is outstanding in its portrayal of depth. Secondary characters are about as big and larger than life as you ever see secondary characters even tertiary characters are like that. It's a big part of why we love the series but it goes beyond that. We learn to keep our eyes peeled for what these seemingly less important characters are. Because it turns out many of them are quite crucial. Yeah now the werewoods are a part of this. They're not people they're not characters but they are kind of the inanimate object version of this concept of important secondary character. Part of the background in this case is now a major factor. Like often happens with secondary
