The Evolution of Teaching Techniques

In the 1920s, pedagogy was different. The way that we thought we should teach people was different. In the 1970s onwards, research had this huge explosion of understanding and instructional design. But most of those studies were measuring their success based on whether they passed or failed a curriculum. And then concurrently, there's research saying, well, how applicable even is that curriculum for them in other parts? Does it actually translate to something meaningful? We need a researcher to make sure that we're teaching in a better way.
