International Women's Day in Russia

In russia, feminist groups as well as working class women decided they wanted to mark the day with special demonstrations. Textile workers left their work in several factories and sent delegates to ask for their support in the strike. The general demands of this international women's day were threefold, one social, one military and one political. Bread peace and down with the czar.
