How I Got Started Making Movies
"I always wanted to make films. When I was eight years old, I was with my grandparents," Abrams said. "It became really my tool of socialization as well." The director says he fell in love with every aspect of filmmaking from a very early age. He started writing in college but realized that directing is about fleshing it out at every level.
