Katherine mc lean, i am an associate professor in the department of economics at temple university in philadelphia, pennsylvania. Her research focuses on tobacco, alcohol and elicit drugs as well as public policies that might help reduce the use of these items. She says sin taxes have two effects, they make us do less of the thing being taxed, and they raise revenue. But syntaxes can have cleared down sides too. This didn't gain serious traction until the last decade. Or so they got a lot tof push back and whether all this taxing, or any of this taxing, is worth it.
