The Effects of the Wildfire Smoke on Solar Energy

Last Wednesday compared to this Wednesday, solar farms in New England produced 60% less electricity. We even saw in like the Midwestern States as much as a 25% drop. It's very hard to predict these kinds of things with any fidelity. And so being able to calculate and predict energy demands during a wildfire season is now going to be very, very difficult for these grid managers and for production.
