Unmanned Aircraft - A New Approach to Explosive Weapons

Some early attempts at using an unmanned aircraft to carry explosives took place in 19 forty four. These were not uncrude or unmanned, they required two members of the crew to be able to detonate and arrange the detonation. One particular such mission ended in tragedy. A number of programs saw the americans try to develop uncrude systems that could be set up two thousand feet into the air, be guided by a mother ship across time and space to hit weapon sights in France.
