The biggest mistake I see a lot of speakers make, especially first time speakers is they're so focused on their little moment of time on stage that they forget there's a whole conference going on. What really impresses a lot of audiences is when a speaker gets in the audience. The easier you can be to work with off stage, the more likely that people are going to want to work with you again.
