Robert Eggers did tried specifically to not use CGI as much as possible in this and he only said he used it for like the hundred percent necessary shots. I got like 2000s era flash animation vibes of like someone's just like simply animating this when the way he was in pale the I just looked so yeahYeah there was more kind of stakes but there was more drama you know you're like a brother to me you're supposed to be the chosen one oh you're kind of a star yeah yeah yeah for sure  I'm like okay it was a much more stripped on version instead of saying all those things to each other they just went Oh also the final killing blow the double
