Is Reason Reducible to Rhetorical Moves?
20th century philosophical developments tended towards the idea that reason falls apart and everything is reducible to rhetorical moves, right? So i think we should also think of thi conflict between the rhetorical and the rational. And it amounts to an assertion of a kind of power. It's been influential with an academi and now it's seeped into to day is politics,. Because, in a way, what's prior to reason and truth is the good and certain assumptions about the good.
