The Limitations of Autobiographical Intimacy
I think I'm always as a writer, slightly anxious about loss of control. And that in itself is a limitation that I've learned to live with because there are also these moments where I can allow something else, something messier and more personal to kind of drift in. So I am probably often afraid of losing the reader by being a bit too intimate or embarrassing or embarrassing myself. That was a real hook for me.
