The Future of Social Security Benefits
When Social Security Trust Fund runs out, we can only pay in benefits what we're bringing in revenue. It's also important to note that raising the normal retirement age does not force anybody to work longer. We already are on a platform of a very stingy system. Most people don't have any retirement accounts and the Social Security benefits will not keep people out of poverty.
