The Evolution of Language

Linguistics is not culturally neutral or anything, they have a history. They have biases that they have. And I was interested by sort of the problems they have with trying to have a conversation in a non-linear language when conversations are inherently linear,. That's an interesting, uh, issue and, um, trying to think about how my speakers talk about language. Yeah. So, yeah. There was a lot of interesting stuff and we haven't even talked about, uh, Kevin Keith, who's talked to us about media for linguistics - something I had never heard about before. It didn't exist. But what Sy and Alice Alex did was, was really great as well.
