Coffee meats and bagel are creating, probably certain other kinds of fluency. They want to create some friction there, to slow the user down in a way that tinder does not. Little things like the font you use can be fluent or not fluent. You can actually change the plausible path by changing what's easy to do at the beginning. And once you are down that road, people tend to follow the same way of making the decision.
