The Pain of Prototyping SQL in Rails
Some of my pain points with doing straight SQL is anybody who's tried to use just the standard databaseSQL package can kind of attest to this. So I like the idea of things that make it easy to map my data from my query back into my type. But for new people, there's also the fact that things like major ORMs can be leaky abstractions. Like where is the perfect bounce? And I don't know whether I have the answer for that.
