The way the government uses taxes is essentially the same from country to country. If you're a business and you have lots of employees, you get lots of tax benefits and you pay a lower tax rate. You are a partner with the government whether you like it or not. Even when they're taxed as your worst enemy because you're not taking advantage of the incentives, you're not being a good partner.
