"Sleepless" is a sci-fi mystery that touches upon capitalism and exploitation. The book was released in late August, but the publisher had to reschedule events because of supply chain issues. "I don't think I've really written a story that doesn't have an unreliable narrator intentionally from the get-go," she says.
